Can I take a lesson if I have never skied?
Yes. Level chosen when booking: first-timer, beginner, intermediate or advanced. First time: first-timer.
What is the difference between 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3?
Number of people per instructor. 1:2 and 1:3: bring your own group; price is the group total. Very different levels in the group: KakaoTalk live chat.
How much are the lessons?
Standard lesson, 2 hours: 1:1 KRW 160,000 · 1:2 KRW 200,000 · 1:3 KRW 250,000 (1:2 and 1:3 are group totals). 3-hour and 4-hour prices: see the price table. VAT and lesson permit fee included. Lift tickets and equipment rental not included.
What time do lessons start?
2 hours: starts 09:00 · 11:00 · 13:00 or 14:00 · 18:00. 3 hours: 13:00–16:00 · 18:00–21:00.
How does a 4-hour lesson work?
Two 2-hour lessons. Back to back: 09:00–13:00 or 11:00–15:00. Split: 09:00–11:00 lesson · 11:00–13:00 break · 13:00–15:00 lesson.

How do I book a lesson?
On Naver Smart Store (‘휘닉스파크 스키강습센터’). Lesson date, time and level entered when booking.
What do I enter when I book?
Lesson date and time, level and, for rental, shoe size, height and weight. Own equipment: ‘장비있음’ (own equipment).
I want to change the date or cancel.
Date change: via KakaoTalk live chat, updated after checking. Cancellation: free up to 2 days before · 10% the day before · 30% on the day.

Can I rent equipment and clothing?
Yes. Joymonster rental shop: ski and snowboard equipment, ski and snowboard wear, helmets, goggles. Rental items: Naver Smart Store.
Where do I pick up equipment?
Joymonster rental shop: 441 Taegi-ro, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do (Myeonon-ri 777) / 강원 평창군 태기로 441 (면온리 777).
Where do I return equipment?
After the lesson, in front of the Phoenix Park Ski House.
Do you have equipment in children's sizes?
Shoe size, height and weight entered when booking. Size check: KakaoTalk live chat.

Can I buy lift tickets?
Available from Joymonster. On site, on the day; also without a lesson.
Is the lift ticket included in the lesson price?
No. The lesson price includes VAT and the lesson permit. Lift tickets and equipment rental are separate.

Where do I meet the instructor?
Phoenix Park Ski House, 2nd floor, top of the escalator. Equipment first: Joymonster rental shop (441 Taegi-ro, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do (Myeonon-ri 777)).

Can a child who has never skied learn?
Yes. Level chosen when booking: first-timer, beginner, intermediate or advanced. First time: first-timer. Child's personality or concerns: tell us in advance via KakaoTalk.
What is the certification class?
KYSA (Korea Youth Ski Federation)-recognized ski skill certification course for juniors (ages 7–17). Junior Grade 2 after 3 lessons; levels 3–6 after passing a separate skill test. Judging and issuing: federation-recognized instructors. Booking: premium lesson on Naver Smart Store.
From what age can children get the certificate?
Juniors aged 7 to 17.
From what age can children take lessons?
Child's age, height and ski experience via KakaoTalk → suitable lesson suggested.
Can two children take a lesson together?

Can parents learn together with their child?
